Annual Winter Weekend Retreat, Oxfordshire

Yoga, Meditation And Shakti Dance!

Oxfordshire

November 30th - December 2nd, 2018

Escape the winter and seasonal madness. Run away to this wonderful countryside manor house, with more peace, tranquility and character than you can handle. Set in 55 acres of glorious Oxfordshire countryside, this was once home to Ian Flemming (007 author), Marianne Faithful and Mick Jagger. Under an hour from London and under 20 minutes from Reading, this is an easy weekend break.

The weekend will sport many activities, all of which are optional. Three delicious vegan and vegetarian meals will be home cooked daily, with home made mid morning snacks and afternoon tea also.

Dirish is coming from London to teach Shakti Dance Yoga. He is a total smash hit at our festival Om & Bass. He is an utter delight, full of knowledge and inspiration.
Rachel will teach Hatha Yoga Flow, Meditation and Pranayama.
There will be fires to relax by, walks to go on and also a workshop in making your own organic self care products.

Early Bird before September 1st is £355 for the shared room and £395 for single room. After September 1st prices go to £395 for shared occupation for the three days, two nights, all inclusive. Single room is £425 for the full weekend, all inclusive.

The house is incredible and the gardens are glorious. There are never en suite rooms available. This is a house and not a hotel. There are no toiletries provided and you must bring your own towel and mat.

Annual Easter Weekend Gong Meditation Sound Journey Healing and Yoga Retreat Friday 19th April - Sunday 21st April 2019

Worton Manor, Thrupp, Oxfordshire

Roger and his gongs are notoriously enchanting and they play a major role at our Om & Bass Welbeing Festival every year. Now is your chance to have some quality time with Roger. You will be guided through several delightful Hatha Yoga practices, which I have personally entitled 'Uber Hatha' in Roger's honour. He is an extremely experienced and learned yoga teacher with a great sense of humour and a grounded human attitude towards life and practice. You'd be mad not to come and enjoy him and his massive gongs! ;)

A gong bath is a relaxing sound healing which is comparable to meditation. You make a nice warm nest on the floor, lay down and Roger plays his ancient gongs. The sound vibrations take the brain state from Alpha, Beta and into Theta where you will experience a deep healing and relaxation.

Rach will be there to add her flavour to the weekend with humour, Yin and Yang Yoga, mediation and pranayama. Rach has taught weekend Easter retreats for around 5 years. Rach has a light hearted approach to yoga and life, endeavouring to ensure that no-one feels self conscious or out of place on her retreats.

In addition to the above yoga, meditation, breathing and relaxation we offer long walks and an organics self care products workshop with Susie of Alchemisty, making a little something to take home with you. Susie is really knowledgeable about natures ability to heal and she has some great tips for us to take away with us.

The weekend starts on Friday 19th, arrivals from 3pm.
Open Meditation 5-6pm Evening Meal is served 6.30-7.30pm
Welcome and gentle relaxation practice 8.30pm.

Saturday and Sunday are jam packed with classes and workshops, delicious meals, twice daily tea breaks with snacks and free time to relax and unwind. Sunday finishes at 5pm with no evening meal.

Costs start at £375 per person for the 3 days and 2 nights at Wolsey House, Thrupp, Oxford. Price is for a shared room in twin or triple accommodation. Single room is £425.
