Gong Bath Tickets

Roger and his impressively massive gongs are coming back to Oxford. Join us for some deep relaxation, community teas, snacks and chats to warm and nourish you in the winter months.

ALL AGES AND ABILITIES WELCOME. Literally ANY BODY can take part. We are lovingly guided by Roger though some very gentle yoga postures and breath work to prepare us for the Gong Bath Sound Journey and Relaxation. You do not need any previous experience whatsoever.

The Gongs are ancient Asian instruments which take you on a healing sound journey in both body and mind. The vibrations or the Gongs carry you into a deep relaxation and can have wonderful rejuvenating or energising effects for some time after the event.
You are bathed in sound waves - not water :)

Richard Benson Hall, Cowley Road has no parking but there is street parking available. Bring a mug for teas, yoga mat, many blankets and warm layers, bring a pillow, hot water bottle and anything else you might need to be super warm and comfortable.

Please arrive for 5.30pm

Detox and Unwind Yoga and Meditation Retreat Weekend, Oxfordshire

The Abbey, Sutton Courtney
January 18-20th

'Tis the season to be jolly..... and feel well ;)

This is always the time of year for detoxing and recharging the body, mind and soul.

Taking care of ourselves in these dark months, after the seasonal celebrations is absolutely essential.

Join us for a weekend of yoga, relaxation, meditation, great vegan food and laughter.
Rest, recharge and regenerate yourself on this three day weekend retreat in Sutton Courtney. We have the most beautiful gothic house, with an amazing yoga space, great gardens all set in a lovely countryside Oxfordshire village.

We will enjoy immune boosting smoothies and shots, liver repair teas, cleansing food and practices.

Even if you don't drink alcohol the chances are you will have over eaten, been stressed, had late nights and had a lot of sugar and other naughty delights over the holiday period. There is always strain on the liver and other organs at this time of year so we will be taking care of you thoroughly with love :)

We are delighted to be hosting Kwali who will be leading the Kundalini Yoga, Gong Baths and Chanting sessions. Rach will be teaching her usual Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin flows.

Annual Easter Weekend Gong Meditation Sound Journey Healing and Yoga Retreat Friday 19th April - Sunday 21st April 2019

Worton Manor, Thrupp, Oxfordshire

Roger and his gongs are notoriously enchanting and they play a major role at our Om & Bass Welbeing Festival every year. Now is your chance to have some quality time with Roger. You will be guided through several delightful Hatha Yoga practices, which I have personally entitled 'Uber Hatha' in Roger's honour. He is an extremely experienced and learned yoga teacher with a great sense of humour and a grounded human attitude towards life and practice. You'd be mad not to come and enjoy him and his massive gongs! ;)

A gong bath is a relaxing sound healing which is comparable to meditation. You make a nice warm nest on the floor, lay down and Roger plays his ancient gongs. The sound vibrations take the brain state from Alpha, Beta and into Theta where you will experience a deep healing and relaxation.

Rach will be there to add her flavour to the weekend with humour, Yin and Yang Yoga, mediation and pranayama. Rach has taught weekend Easter retreats for around 5 years. Rach has a light hearted approach to yoga and life, endeavouring to ensure that no-one feels self conscious or out of place on her retreats.

In addition to the above yoga, meditation, breathing and relaxation we offer long walks and an organics self care products workshop with Susie of Alchemisty, making a little something to take home with you. Susie is really knowledgeable about natures ability to heal and she has some great tips for us to take away with us.

The weekend starts on Friday 19th, arrivals from 3pm.
